Hi Reader. My name is Mike, I’m 43, but sometimes feel like I’m going on 143. I live, work and breath in South Yorkshire. You may remember Yorkshire for such things as cloth caps, whippets, Hovis bread and Last of the Summer Wine. Times though, they are a changing I tell you. We now have baseball caps, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, bagels and re-runs of Last of the Summer Wine.
I started 366andallthat at the start of 2012 to help me focus more, and get more from my photography. Something I love doing. Not something I’m great at, but I have been known to take a reasonable snap on occasion. For those not very good snaps, I tend to just call them ‘art’, hang a do not disturb sign on the door and appreciate them in private.
I am currently doing a 366 challenge in 2012, hence the ‘366’ in the blog name. However I am not limiting myself to that here, hence ‘andallthat’. Sort of covers everything really. My main photography loves, though, are landscape and street photography. So you will probably see mostly those, after my 366 work.
My kit bag is quite small compared to other photographers. A Pentax K5, a few lenses and a couple of filters. But what I lack in equipment, I hope to more than make up for by learning good technique and hopefully spotting the differences in the every-day-obvious.
Hope you can stick around and have some fun.
