This is a personal shot as I was leaving last night’s Sleep Easy event that I went along to to officially photograph 🙂 . There were some 70 shots that I was pleased with enough to pass on to the organisers.
Great capture Mike….glad the night went well for you….first of many???
Wow, great “dance”… and fantastic colors.
Thanks for your visit and comments. Hope to “see” you soon!
Fantastic fire dance!
Congratulations on your Conflagration, it shows your ability well.
What a great capture! Very well done!
Great shot Mike!
There are so many interesting shapes in the fire, It’s so amazing to look at all of them.
Nicely done! and congrats!!
Totally off the chart! Glad you were pleased with how the night went!
Wow!! This shot is amazing… I love the curvature and crispness of the flames. Shooting fire is no easy task.
Congrats on the gig! This shot is amazing…the movement is captivating…
Glad to read that your event went well! Your fire shot is great evidence of your photographic ability!
Thanks everyone. It did go well. It took me a while though, to get talking to people. I’m not really a face to face people person. More practice is needed I think.

I think fire is so hard to take a picture of. Great job!
Love this shot, has a translucency which is quite beautiful
Amazing! I have rarely gotten off a good shot of fire–it’s always blown out. Even the few that have been satisfactory have not come close to this one.
A raging fire…the details are really intriguing! This is not an easy shot to get and you nailed it!
So well shot, fire is tricky I think.
I’m catching up and will go see what the heck the event is..
This was a round bin with some wood sticking up from the bottom left hand corner of the shot. I managed to bag this at ISO 3200 as it was pitch black around the bin, just before the lid went on.
Wonderful, very beautiful.
Wonderful! I knew you’d have some awesome results as your posted images are evidence that you have a solid foundation in technique. Hope to see more!
